When you remember a phrase but not the note, start in Search. You can also open it with Command K. Type your words to find matching passages. Pressing Enter asks for an answer instead.

Choose a result to check the original. For a recording, the result opens the transcript at the matching segment. Read the surrounding words, or listen to hear the context.

If the passage is useful, select it and save a sourced excerpt into a note. The habit is simple: find the passage, check the original, then carry the part you need into your own writing.
